Attracting troubles: three things that should not be kept at home

Old things do not always bring only pleasant memories

We often become so accustomed to our belongings that we develop a certain sentiment for them and find it challenging to part with them, even when they are already out of order. Folk beliefs suggest that some of these items can be dangerous and attract trouble to the house.

As OBOZREVATEL has found out, superstitions directly point to specific things, as their energy can have a significant impact on people.

A cracked mirror

Mirrors are considered guides to the world of the afterlife, and various superstitions surround them. One belief suggests that a damaged mirror distorts the energy flow, leading to not just bad luck but real misfortune. Therefore, cracked and broken mirrors should be disposed of immediately.

A clock that has stopped

Time moves forward and never stops— that's its nature. A clock that has stopped is contrary to this nature and is considered a very bad sign. It can bring stagnation, potentially leading to unfortunate events such as the death of someone in the house. Signs do not recommend keeping non-functioning clocks at home.

Poor quality photos

Photos, like mirrors, are considered portals, but this time to the past. Therefore, it is advisable to display only high-quality images that clearly show all the details in prominent places. Damaged and low-quality photos can be stored, but it is better to keep them in albums rather than display them openly.
