A simple chocolate cake that doesn't need to be baked: the base is made of cookies

A delicious chocolate cake doesn't have to be baked. If you don't have enough time to cook, you can use ordinary cookies for the base. You just need to spread it with a delicate cream and wait for it to harden.

The idea of making a basic chocolate cake without baking was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria Tolokova (vika_tolokova23). This dessert is suitable even for a holiday.

Ingredients:

• 1 egg
• 100 g sugar (if you like it very sweet, you can add more sugar)

• 20 g of corn starch
• 20 g of cocoa
• 200 ml of 10% fat cream (you can replace the cream with milk, but the cream will taste better with it).
• 200 ml of milk
• 70 g of butter

Method of preparation:

1. Mix the egg and sugar in a saucepan.

2. Add starch, cocoa, cream and milk and mix.

3. Put it on low heat.

4. Stirring constantly, bring to a thickening.

5. Pour the cream into a bowl, add butter, cover with cling film and let it cool completely.

6. Put a layer of cookies, cream and so on until the end. The last layer is cream.

7. Put in the refrigerator for stabilization for at least 2 hours.

8. decorate as desired.
