Bread is a very popular product in Ukraine. Almost every second Ukrainian eats bread and bakery products every day. Thus. you can make any kind of bread at home with just two ingredients: flour and water. Yesterday's bread can be used to make delicious croutons and crackers for soups and salads.
Culinary expert Yevhen Klopotenko explains on his website how to fry croutons in a pan properly so that they don't burn to a pan and are crispy.
Tip: try to put the bread in the pan so that it is in close contact with the surface of the pan. Thus, the croutons will be fried evenly! Add salt to the croutons at the end to make them delicious!
Ingredients:
- bread - 4-5 pieces
- butter - 40 g
- salt and Provence herbs - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Cut bread.
2. Melt butter in a preheated frying pan.
3. Put the bread in a frying pan and fry well on both sides for about 2 minutes.
4. Put the croutons on a plate and season with salt and herbs to taste.
