Will not be dry or hard: what to stew pork ribs in to make them soft

Pork ribs can be fried, boiled, or used to make borscht. To prevent stewed and fried ribs from being tough, cooks recommend adding honey, soy sauce, tomato paste, and beer.
Chef Valerii Ponomar shared a recipe on Instagram for soft, juicy pork ribs cooked in beer and honey.
Ingredients:
- pork ribs - 2 kg
- garlic - 2 cloves.
- ginger - 1 tsp.
- onions - 3 pcs.
- dark beer - 200 ml
- water - 100 ml
- salt and pepper - to taste
- honey - 1 tbsp
- thyme - 1 sprig
Method of preparation:
1. Remove the white film from the ribs and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Fry garlic, ginger and a lot of onion in the same pan for about 4-5 minutes.
2. Put the ribs on top of the onion, pour in beer and water, add thyme and cover. Simmer for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
3. Lower the heat, remove the lid and add spices.
