What to add to cutlets instead of bread to make them juicy: tips from culinary experts
Cutlets are not always juicy and soft. Culinary experts advise adding vegetables, cheese, both hard cheese and feta or mozzarella rather than bread.
Cook Olha shared a recipe for delicious chicken cutlets with cauliflower and feta on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet - 500 g
- cauliflower (raw) - 350 g
- onion - 1 pc.
- eggs - 2 pcs.
- feta - 100 g
- flour - 4-5 tbsp
- spices (for chicken, smoked paprika, pepper), salt - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the cabbage for about 5-7 minutes.
2. Pass the chicken fillet through a meat grinder, and add the peeled onion and cauliflower. Add the eggs, flour, spices and feta to the minced meat and mix well. Let the minced meat stand for 15 minutes.
3. Form patties and fry on both sides under a lid over low heat for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
