Very often, dumplings and ravioli turn out tough and dark because of the dough. To prevent this from happening, chefs advise adding boiling water and necessarily vegetable oil to the dough.
The cook shared on Instagram the recipe for the most successful, elastic dough for dumplings and ravioli.
Ingredients:
- flour – 320 g
- water (boiling water) – 200 ml
- salt – 0.5 tsp
- 1 yolk
- vegetable oil – 2 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Mix flour with salt, pour boiling water, mix, and add the yolk, pour in vegetable oil, and mix.
2. Knead the dough, then cut it into 2 pieces, roll it out, and press it into a circle for dumplings.
3. Put about 1 tsp of the filling in the center and carefully pinch the dumplings or ravioli.
4. Put the dumplings in boiling water and cook for 3 minutes after they surface. Serve with onions or sour cream.
