The perfect proportions for delicious dumplings: the dough always turns out well

Homemade dumplings are the most delicious. But it's not always possible to make them at home – the dough sticks to your hands or doesn't rise. It's all about the wrong proportions.

The idea of making dumpling dough with clear proportions is published on the Instagram page of food blogger Emiliia Yevtushenko (emiliia.yevtushenko).

Ingredients for the dough:

  • 450 ml of water
  • 600-700 g of flour
  • 1 tsp of salt

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 600-650 grams of minced meat
  • 1 onion (cut and fry in vegetable oil)
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 egg

Method of preparation:

1. Pour in water, salt and start adding flour.

2. Knead the soft dough (everyone has a different brand of flour, so it may take more). Put it in a bag and send it to rest in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.

3. The easiest way is to use a dumpling maker. To do this, roll the dough into 2 circles.

4. Sprinkle the dumpling maker with flour.

5. Put the minced meat.

6. Close with the second circle.

7. Roll out until the dumplings fall out.
