Chebureks are a delicious meat dish based on dough and a delicious filling. According to cooks, the most important thing is to make good dough and fry them properly.

Cook Victoria (cook_with_me_at_home ) shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious homemade chebureks that will turn out to be just perfect.

Ingredients:

Dough:

  • cold water – 250 ml
  • salt – 1 tsp.
  • oil – 150 g
  • flour – 550 g

Filling:

  • meat – 300-350 g
  • onion – 100 g
  • spices: salt, pepper – to taste
  • milk
  • oil

Method of preparation:

1. Melt and cool the butter.

2. Pour cold water into a bowl, add salt and 4 tbsp of flour and oil, stir with a spoon until smooth, and then knead the dough by hand.

3. The dough should be soft, elastic, and not stick to your hands.

4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, fold it three times, roll it out again into a rectangle, and fold it four times, then wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1-1.5 hours.

5. Filling: pass the onion and meat through a meat grinder, add spices to the minced meat, and pour in the milk, mix well until smooth.

6. Divide the chilled dough into 16 pieces and form a ball from each piece.

7. Next, make a thin circle out of the ball, put the minced meat on half of it, and pinch the edges well.

8. Heat a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil, and fry over low-medium heat on both sides until golden brown.
