Stuffed peppers are a very tasty and healthy dish that is very simple and quick to prepare. All you need to do is choose high-quality peppers without damage and make a delicious meat filling.
The cook shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious, very satisfying stuffed peppers that will taste better than stuffed cabbage rolls.
Ingredients:
- peppers - 6 pcs.
- minced meat - 400 g
- onion - 2 pcs.
- carrots - 2 pcs.
- garlic - 1 clove.
- paprika/curry/salt/pepper
- oil for frying
Filling:
- tomato juice - 250 ml
- onion - 1 pc.
- carrots - 2 pcs.
- pepper - 1 pc.
Method of preparation:
1. Finely chop the onion, and grate the carrots. Fry in a little oil until golden brown. Add the minced meat, grated garlic, and salt to taste. Fry for 7-10 minutes and remove from the heat.
2. Add your favorite spices to the minced meat and mix well.
3. Rinse the peppers well and cut off the top cap with the tail, but do not throw it away. Peel the seeds and excess skin from the inside, season with salt, and fill the peppers with the fried minced meat. Cover with the "cap".
4. For frying: fry finely chopped onion and grated carrot until golden brown, add chopped pepper.
5. Pour the tomato juice over the peppers and season with salt, put in a preheated 180 C oven for 35-45 minutes.
