Fluffy homemade pancakes: what you need to add to the dough
Pancakes are an ideal breakfast and snack dish. To make them fluffy, cooks recommend adding baking powder or baking soda.
Cook Yana shared on Instagram a recipe for fluffy and light pancakes made with kefir.
Ingredients:
- Kefir - 400 ml.
- Egg - 1 pc.
- Salt - a pinch
- Sugar - 2 tbsp
- Flour - 250-255 g
- Baking soda - 1 tsp. without a slide
Method of preparation:
1. Heat the kefir for a minute. Add the egg, salt and sugar.
2. Sift the flour and gradually add it, beating the dough with a whisk each time.
3. At the end, add the baking soda, mix and toss for 15 minutes. Do not stir the dough any further.
4. Take a spoonful, put it on a preheated frying pan over medium heat.
5. At the end, cover briefly with a lid to cook them inside and make them fluffy!
