Pizza in a skillet for a snack: a recipe for the simplest dough
If you want to prepare a tasty and satisfying dish for a snack or a festive table, pizza is the perfect option. The dough can be made with yeast, as well as liquid, and even pita bread.
The cook shared a recipe for a delicious pizza cooked in a pan on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 200 ml of kefir
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp salt (without a slide)
- 350 g of flour (1 tbsp)
- 1/3 tsp of baking soda
- 1 tsp of baking powder
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
Filling:
- tomato sauce/ketchup
- Italian herbs
- sausage
- olives
- corn
- cheese
Method of preparation:
1. Combine the egg with kefir, salt, and sugar and mix. Add the sifted flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
2. Knead the dough, the flour should be completely moistened. Add the oil, put the dough on the surface, and knead for 2-3 minutes, it should be slightly sticky to your hands, if it is too sticky, add a tablespoon of flour. The dough should be soft and only slightly sticky to your hands, do not overwork it, because it will not be loose.
3. Put the dough in a bowl greased with oil and leave for 30 minutes.
4. Divide the dough into 2/3/4 parts, depending on the thickness of the pizza you want. Sprinkle the surface with flour and roll out the dough into a circle 26 cm in diameter.
5. Put it in a frying pan and cook over a little more than minimum heat (the highest burner) under the lid for 5 minutes. Turn it over, the crust should be browned, put the toppings on the browned part, cover, and cook for another 10 minutes.
Serve the pizza immediately while it is still hot!
