Lazy pita bread pie for a quick snack: the easiest recipe
Pita bread is an ideal product for making delicious appetizers, pies, casseroles and desserts. It can also be used to make healthy homemade chips.
Cook Polina shared a recipe for a delicious and very easy-to-prepare pita bread pie with cheese on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- pita bread
- 250 g of yogurt/kefir
- 1 egg
- dill/parsley/green onions
- salt
- 150 g of cottage cheese
- 150 g of mozzarella/sulguni
- sesame seeds
Method of preparation:
1. Mix yogurt, egg, salt and herbs in a bowl.
2. Mix cottage cheese with mozzarella.
3. Cut pita bread into 5-6 equal pieces to fit the baking dish.
4. Dip each piece of pita bread in the liquid mixture, put it in the mold and sprinkle with cheese and sesame seeds.
5. Cook in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
