Latkes without a gram of flour: Jewish potato pancake made from three ingredients
Latkes are a classic Hanukkah potato dish that tastes no different from potato pancakes. The only difference is the way the dish is served, namely with apple mousse, yogurt, or sour cream.
The food blogger shared on Instagram a recipe for Jewish potato pancakes made without flour, with chicken eggs, onions, and spices.
Ingredients:
- Potatoes - 2 pcs
- Onions - 1 pc
- Chicken eggs - 1 pc
- Black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable oil
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the potatoes, add the grated onion, then squeeze out the excess liquid well, but so that the starch remains.
2. Put the potatoes and onion back into the bowl with the starch. Add the egg, salt and pepper and mix.
3. Fry the potato pancakes in a preheated frying pan in vegetable oil on both sides until golden brown.
