Korean-style carrots are an ideal appetizer that can be eaten as a separate dish or added to salads. They can also be cooked at home with spices and garlic and can be eaten in a few hours.

How to cook carrots deliciously in Korean

Chef Valerii Ponomar shared a recipe for delicious Korean-style carrots with ground coriander and garlic on Instagram.



  • carrots - 500 g
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • sugar - 1 tsp.
  • ground coriander - 1 tbsp (fresh)
  • hot red pepper - 1/3 tsp.
  • garlic - 2-3 cloves.
  • vinegar 6% - 2 tbsp (wine, rice or apple)
  • sunflower oil - 60 ml (4 tbsp)

Method of preparation:

1. Peel carrots and soak them in cold water for one hour (they will become juicy).

3. Heat sunflower oil in a saucepan and pour over the carrots.

4. Marinate in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
