Korean carrots are an ideal appetizer that can be eaten as a separate dish or added to salads. Korean carrots can be cooked at home with spices and garlic and can be eaten in a few hours.

How to cook carrots deliciously in Korean

Chef Valeriy Ponomar shared a recipe for delicious Korean carrots with ground coriander and garlic on Instagram.

Carrot recipe

Ingredients:

  • Carrots - 500 g
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp.
  • Ground coriander - 1 tbsp (fresh)
  • Hot red pepper - 1/3 tsp.
  • Garlic - 2-3 cloves.
  • Vinegar 6% - 2 tbsp (wine or rice, apple)
  • Sunflower oil - 60 ml (4 tbsp)

Method of preparation:

1. Peel the carrots and soak them in cold water for one hour (they will become juicy).

2. Grate and add all the spices.

3. Heat the sunflower oil in a saucepan and pour over the spices.

4. Marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours, in an airtight container.
