Homemade Korean-style carrots: recipe for spicy appetizer

Korean-style carrots are an ideal appetizer that can be eaten as a separate dish or added to salads. They can also be cooked at home with spices and garlic and can be eaten in a few hours.
Chef Valerii Ponomar shared a recipe for delicious Korean-style carrots with ground coriander and garlic on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- carrots - 500 g
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 1 tsp.
- ground coriander - 1 tbsp (fresh)
- hot red pepper - 1/3 tsp.
- garlic - 2-3 cloves.
- vinegar 6% - 2 tbsp (wine, rice or apple)
- sunflower oil - 60 ml (4 tbsp)
Method of preparation:
1. Peel carrots and soak them in cold water for one hour (they will become juicy).
2. Grate carrots and add all spices.
3. Heat sunflower oil in a saucepan and pour over the carrots.
4. Marinate in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
