Chicken meat is often tough and dry. Thus, cooks advise to fry it before stewing, and then baking in the oven in a tomato or cream sauce.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious chicken thighs with Provence herbs and sauce on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- 4-6 chicken thighs
- salt
- 1 tbsp. oil
- Provence herbs
Sauce:
- 450 g tomatoes in their own juice
- 1 b black olives
- 1 small onion
- salt, black pepper
- 2 tsp. of Provence herbs
Method of preparation:
1. Wash meat and dry it. Sprinkle with spices, add oil and fry the meat until golden brown.
2. Mix tomatoes with onion, spices, salt, pepper and olives.
3. Put the roasted meat in the baking dish, pour the tomato sauce and olives on top, put it in the oven and bake until tender.
