1. Potato yeast
Ingredients:
- potatoes – 2 pcs.
- water – 1 cup
- flour – 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Peel and grate potatoes.
2. Add water, mix, and leave for a day in a warm place. The mass will begin to ferment.
3. Then add flour, mix, and leave for another 10 hours.
The result is an excellent sourdough starter for baking.
2. Flour and water yeast
Ingredients:
- flour – 1 tbsp
- water – 1 cup
Method of preparation:
1. Pour flour into a bowl, add water, and mix well to make the consistency liquid.
2. Put the finished mixture in a warm place to ferment for a day.
3. Then add a little more flour, mix, and leave for another 12 hours, after which you can use the ready-made starter for baking.
