Nuggets are a dish in American cuisine typically made from fillets, and can also refer to crispy breaded chicken breast fried in a large amount of oil. It's worth noting that this dish gained popularity in the 1950s in fast food restaurants, and was also available in frozen form at that time.
Cook Anastasia Solopiy shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious nuggets that are quick to prepare and cooked without oil.
Ingredients:
- fillet - 500 g
- eggs - 1 pc.
- milk - 500 ml
- corn flakes - 100 g
- hard cheese - 50 g
- flour - 2 tbsp.
- salt - to taste
- smoked paprika, dried garlic - to taste
- any sauce
Method of preparation:
1. Wash, dry and cut the fillet into small pieces.
2. Beat off with a hammer, but only on one side.
3. Then season thoroughly with salt and sprinkle generously with paprika and dried garlic/onion.
4. Beat the egg with milk and a pinch of salt.
5. Grate the cheese on a fine grater.
6. Grind the corn flakes, add the finely grated cheese to the flakes and mix.
6. Take each piece of meat and dredge in flour, then in egg and generously in corn breading and cheese.
7. Put the meat on a paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes at 210°C.
8. Serve the finished nuggets with the sauce.
