How to make delicious croissants at home: an elementary recipe

Croissants are a traditional French pastry based on airy, flavorful dough. They are served with a variety of delicious fillings – berries, almonds, light cream, as well as fish and ham.
Food blogger Inna Livenets shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious margarine and yeast croissants that you can easily make at home.
Ingredients:
- warm water – 300 ml
- wheat flour – 500 g
- margarine – 250 g
- salt – 1 tsp
- any yeast – 8 g
- sugar – 3 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Dissolve the yeast in warm water, add sugar, salt, and flour, mix, and knead the dough.
2. Put the finished dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
3. Take the parchment, put the chopped margarine, cover the parchment with the top, and roll the margarine into a thin layer. Then put the margarine in the parchment in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
4. Roll out a 40x20 rectangle from the dough, put the chilled margarine (without parchment) on half of the rectangle, cover with the other half of the dough, and roll it out with a rolling pin to make a larger rectangle – 30x60. Fold it three times and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.
5. After an hour, roll out the dough again, fold it three times, and put it back in the refrigerator for an hour.
6. Take out the dough, cut it into three pieces while working with one, and refrigerate the rest of the dough.
7. Roll out a piece of rectangle and cut out triangles with a knife.
8. Roll the triangles into rolls, place them on a baking sheet, brush with milk, and leave to proof at room temperature for another hour.
9. Preheat the oven to 200 C, and put the croissant tray in the oven to bake for 15 minutes.
