How to make delicious oatmeal for breakfast: add just one ingredient

Oatmeal is a healthy and very tasty cereal that can be used to make many delicious and healthy breakfast dishes and more. You can easily make oatmeal pancakes, porridge with milk and water, soups, and even bread, cookies, and pies.

Food blogger Anastasia Solopii shared a recipe for delicious oatmeal with butter, poached egg and green onions, which is very satisfying and easy to prepare, on Instagram.


  • oatmeal - 250 g
  • water - 2 cups
  • butter - 30 g
  • vinegar - 1 tbsp
  • eggs - 2-3 pcs.
  • salt - a pinch
  • ground pepper - to taste
  • green onions - 10 g

Method of preparation:

1. Bring water in a saucepan to a boil.

2. Add oatmeal and cook for 3-5 minutes.

3. Then add butter and salt and stir.

4. In a separate saucepan, bring water to a boil, add vinegar and make a well with a spoon. Add the egg and cook for exactly 3 minutes.

5. Wash and chop the onion.

6. Put the porridge in a bowl, put the egg on top, sprinkle with chopped green onions and sprinkle with a little ground pepper.

If desired, you can also add avocado to the dish, it will be even tastier!
