How to cook pork ribs properly to make the meat soft and juicy: sharing our tips and recipe
Pork ribs are the perfect dish for the holiday table as well as for a hearty lunch and dinner. They can be delicious baked, cooked into soups, as well as fried with spices and sauces.
Culinarian Irina shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious pork ribs glazed with pickled onions that will be very soft and juicy.
- pork ribs - 1 kg
- mustard - 1-1,5 tbsp.
- spices for meat - 30 g
- salt - to taste
- ketchup - 1 tbsp.
- soy sauce - 1 tbsp.
- honey - 1 tbsp.
- onions - 2 pcs.
- cold water - 1 cup
- salt - 2 tbsp.
- vinegar - 4 tbsp.
- dried greens - 1,5 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the pork ribs, dry them with paper towel and remove the foil.
2. Grease with mustard and sprinkle the spices on the meat, rub the spices a little with your hands, then cover with cling film and leave in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
3. Line a baking dish with foil and parchment. Place the ribs in the form and wrap in foil. Place in the oven at 160 C for 2 to 2.5 hours.
4. For the glaze: mix ketchup, soy sauce and honey. Open the foil and grease the baked ribs on top, bake for about 15 minutes more at 180 C.
