In the kitchen, every housewife has such a necessary utensil as a baking tray, on which you can cook not only pies and meat but also cheesecakes, cutlets and use it to dry fruits and herbs. However, very often, when used incorrectly, food cooked on it burns and spoils the baking sheet, which is then easier to throw away than to wash.
The FoodOboz editorial team has selected a list of 6 best, and most importantly, safe products that will help you "save" even a hopeless baking sheet and clean it from stubborn stains and grease.
1. Soda with foil
Just sprinkle a large amount of baking soda on a baking sheet, add a few drops of detergent and lukewarm water, and leave it on for 30 minutes. Next, roll the aluminum foil into a ball and rub the burnt area on the baking sheet. Finally, rinse with water.
2. Ammonia
Put the burnt baking sheet in a garbage bag and take it outside to a balcony or other well-ventilated area. Pour enough ammonia into the bag to cover the surface. Close the bag and leave it for 24 hours. Then rinse several times.
3. Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda
Mix baking soda and peroxide, spread it over the surface of the baking sheet and let it sit for 3-4 hours. It is better to leave it overnight. Remove any dirt with a scraper and wash with warm water and detergent.
4. Baking soda and vinegar
Sprinkle the baking soda on a baking sheet, pour vinegar over it, and leave it for 30-60 minutes. Then wipe off the grease with a sponge and wash the baking sheet.
6. Vinegar and lemon juice
Mix vinegar and lemon juice in a 1:1 ratio. Pour the mixture over the baking sheet and leave for 5-10 minutes. Clean and wash the baking sheet.
