Easier than pizza: lazy lasagna with meat, cheese and vegetables for lunch

Lasagna is one of the simplest and most delicious dishes with minced meat, vegetables, and a delicious sauce. It's worth noting that you can use plain pita bread for the base, and onions and carrots for the filling, which will make the meat juicy and soft and thus give the dish a pleasant taste and aroma.

Cook Valeria shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious lazy lasagna made from pita bread, with minced meat, hard cheese, onions and carrots.

  • Minced meat (any) - 600 g
  • Rectangular pita bread - 1 package
  • Carrots - 1 pc.
  • Medium onion - 1 pc.
  • Tomato paste or sauce - 4 tbsp.
  • Sour cream - 3-4 tbsp.
  • Hard cheese - 100 g
  • Salt, pepper - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Dice the onion and fry until soft in a frying pan. Add the carrots grated on a medium grater and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.

2. Next, add the minced meat, mix, season with salt and pepper, and cook for about 10 minutes over medium heat. The whole minced meat should lighten, then add the tomato paste and mix everything.

3. Preheat the oven to 180 C.

4. Cut the pita bread into 4 pieces the size of a baking dish. Spread the first sheet of pita bread with sour cream, then put the minced meat and vegetables on top. Do this 2 more times. Spread the top lavash with sour cream and sprinkle with grated cheese.
