It is better to make dumpling dough with kefir. It will make it elastic, but not hard!

Raw dumplings for cooking


  • Flour – 400 - 450 g
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Kefir – 200 ml
  • Dill – 30 g
  • Soda – 1 tsp
  • Salt – a pinch

The filling:

  • Onions – 2 pcs.
  • Garlic to taste
  • Minced meat – 400 - 500 g
  • Salt, pepper, paprika, bay leaf – to taste

Method of preparation:

1. For the dough: beat the egg with kefir at room temperature, and add baking soda, salt, and chopped dill. After 3-4 minutes, add all the flour and knead the dough.

2. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes.

3. Season the minced meat with salt, add the garlic, blended onion, and spices.

4. Roll out the dough into a thin layer, and make circles with a glass.

5. Put the filling, fold it in half, without pressing the part to the minced meat, and connect the corners.

6. Bring water to a boil and boil the dumplings.
