Crispy rustic potatoes in the oven with sour cream tartar sauce: the most successful recipe

Rustic potatoes are a delicious and satisfying home-cooked dish that is easier to prepare than mashed potatoes. To make the potatoes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, you need to marinate them well in oil with spices, leave them for 30 minutes, and then bake at 200 C.

Cook Anna shared a recipe for delicious rustic baked potatoes with sour cream tartar sauce on Instagram.

Ingredients:

  • potatoes – 8-9 pcs.
  • garlic – 1 clove
  • oil – 2 tbsp.
  • salt – 1 tsp.
  • black pepper – a pinch
  • paprika – 1 tsp.
  • oregano – 1/3 tsp.
  • curry – 1/3 tsp.

Sauce:

  • sour cream – 3 tbsp. 
  • salt – 1/4 tsp.
  • Suneli hops – 1/4 tsp.
  • mustard in grains – 1 tsp.
  • grated onion – 1 tsp.
  • pickled cucumber – 1 pc.

Method of preparation:

1. Wash and dry the potatoes well, and cut them into small slices.

2. Mix the spices and oil, stir, brush the potatoes, and leave for 30 minutes.

3. After that, put the potatoes on a baking sheet covered with parchment and bake in the oven at 200 C for 25-30 minutes.

4. Sauce: mix sour cream, salt, spices, French mustard, grated onion, and grated cucumber.

Serve hot potatoes with tartar sauce, it will be delicious!
