Cheese casserole with hard cheese in a new way: a recipe for a breakfast dish
A cottage cheese casserole is one of the easiest and most delicious options for breakfast and a light snack. It is worth noting that they can be made not only sweet but also savory by simply adding salt and hard cheese.
Cook Halyna shared a recipe for a salty cheese casserole with hard cheese and cottage cheese on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Hard cheese – 100 g
- Cottage cheese – 200 g
- Eggs – 2 pcs.
- Flour – 100 g
- Yogurt – 100 g, can be replaced with sour cream
- Baking powder – 10 g
- Salt – 0.5 tsp
- Pepper – to taste
- Oregano – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Grate the hard cheese, add cottage cheese, salt, eggs, spices, yogurt, baking powder, flour, and mix well.
2. Grease a frying pan, pour in the batter and cook for 7-10 minutes, cover. Then flip it over, cook for another 10 minutes, and turn it out onto a plate.
Serve the hot casserole!
