Appetizer with beets, cheese, lard, and wine: the taste of this dish will surprise you
Beetroot is a versatile vegetable that can be the main ingredient in salads, appetizers, and sauces.
Chef Marco Cervetti shared a recipe for a delicious beet appetizer with cheese, bacon, and wine on his YouTube channel.
Ingredients:
- boiled beets - 500 g
- minced beef - 300 g
- mozzarella cheese - 500 g
- raw lard - 200 g
- salami sausage - 200 g
- breadcrumbs - 3 tbsp
- onion - 1 pc.
- garlic, cloves - 5 pcs.
- dry white wine - 50 ml
- salt - to taste
- ground black pepper - to taste
- butter
Method of preparation:
1. Cut sausage and bacon into small cubes, chop garlic and fry together.
2. Peel onion, chop it finely, add to the bacon and sausage and fry until golden brown. Add minced meat, mash it, fry until tender, add wine and let it evaporate.
3. Peel boiled beetroots, cut them in half, make a cut in each half, put the meat filling in it, and cover with slices of mozzarella and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
4. Cook the dish in the oven at 180 C until the cheese is melted.
