Ukrainian actor who volunteered in Ternopil region receives draft notice
Ukrainian theater and film actor Yaroslav Bezkorovainyi, known for the TV series "Catching Kaidash" and "The First Days," talked about receiving a draft notice. The actor from Dnipro was drafted in his native Ternopil region.
Bezkorovainyi relocated to Berezhany, Ternopil region, at the onset of the full-scale war, as reported by Channel 24. Since the Dnipro Drama Theater, where the actor worked, is currently closed, he decided to volunteer.
Yaroslav Bezkorovainyi and his colleagues organized a charity auction: artists sold their belongings to raise money for cars and ambulances.
The actor says that after arriving in Berezhany on February 26, he and his comrades realized that they had to do everything possible. "The first thing that came to mind was volunteering," says Bezkorovainyi.
The actor also admitted that he is ready to defend Ukraine, so he is currently waiting for an order. "I have already received a call, passed a medical examination and am waiting for a call from the military commissariat," he said.
