The new movie Deadpool and Wolverine has put the legendary band NSYNC back in the spotlight, securing a spot for their first hit in the top 15 for the first time in over two decades. The movie, which opened at the US box office with a staggering $211 million in its opening weekend, featured the red-suited protagonist dancing to the iconic track "Bye Bye Bye."

The movie begins with Deadpool performing the choreography from the NSYNS music video. The episode quickly went viral online, according to The Hindu. Fans of the franchise seemed to be impressed with this fragment, and many called it one of the best opening scenes in the history of superhero movies. The success of the movie has brought the 2000 classic back to the top - "Bye Bye Bye" is currently ranked #13 on Spotify's global chart.

As the movie Deadpool and Wolverine continues to dominate theaters and its soundtrack climbs the charts, NSYNC's "Bye Bye Bye" is enjoying a renaissance, reminding everyone why they were one of the biggest boy bands of their time.

Interestingly enough, Ryan Reynolds, who played Deadpool, didn't actually do the virgin dance. In fact, choreographer Nick Polley was dancing in the costume, writes Entertaiment Tonight.
