The person responsible for the "Alcoholics" show has apologized for the "joke" about widows, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already promised to visit him

The scandal with the "Alkomiks" continued

Vlad Byvalin, who is responsible for the show "Alcomics," addressed all Ukrainian women who were offended by stand-up comedian Victoria Taran's clumsy "joke" about "happy widows." He apologized to the women who had lost their husbands and explained that at first he thought the context was about girls who were "looking for fathers."

Looking at it from that angle, the "humor" seemed funny and appropriate. A corresponding post appeared on his Instagram page, but it seems that this was not enough for the military.

"I am writing from the club's page on my own behalf. My name is Vlad Byvalin and I am responsible for this 'show'. I sincerely apologize to all the widows of Ukraine. This joke was not supposed to be posted on the Internet. I missed the mark because I perceived this joke as directed at women looking for "dads," which was the context in which it was intended. We did not intend to offend anyone, let alone somehow touch upon the topic of our military and their wives, we all understand the difficult situation in the country," the statement reads.

In the future, Byvalin promised to pay closer attention to everything that comes on the program and apologized once again on behalf of the entire team.

Below the photo, soldier Oleksandr Tsarevsky emphasized that the apology looks like the team is sorry that the "joke" was broadcast.

"You mean an apology for the fact that it came out? And to tolerate such 'humor', in your opinion, is okay? That is, it's okay to mock the wife of the deceased, even behind the eyes? Are you f*cked up on the comic front?" the soldier asked.

Another soldier, Rustam Givazovych, call sign "Barman," also did not appreciate Byvalin's apology. He wrote: "The fact that this joke came out shows how far you are from the war. No, you do not understand the situation in the country, otherwise this joke would not have even occurred to you. To understand, invite the military to your parties. They will be able to explain in an accessible way why it is not ok. This would be the best reminder and deterrent against such f*cks. At the moment, this is the bottom, guys. And there are not enough apologies."

The soldier also added that he was ready to "visit" the comedians, look into their eyes and "have a conversation for mutual understanding."

Radio host Tatyana Troshchinskaya also spoke about the situation. She also emphasized that the apologies of all those involved in the scandal look insincere.

"The post with the video was removed from the Stolichnyi Standup page when Alina Mikhailova noticed it and reacted to it. And they apologized. And this is also indicative. Watch how they apologized: the joke does not reflect their position, Victoria is not a resident of the Stolychnyi Standup. They posted the video on their page because they didn't know the context - they didn't know it was about military wives. I don't know where and in what context these comedians, stand-ups and traveling groups of comedians live. Where did they find the context in which there are no widows, orphans and mothers who have lost children," the journalist wrote.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, the first to respond to the "joke" in the public sphere was a well-known servicewoman, Alina Mikhailova, who buried her beloved, an outstanding soldier, Dmytro Kotsyubaylo (call sign "Da Vinci"), in March last year.

Recently, similar incidents have happened to Kvartal 95, which made an unfortunate joke about Siskadovsk and Dizel Show with their show about a family in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.
