The luxury home of the world-famous British supermodel and actress Cara Delevingne in Los Angeles has been engulfed in a massive fire. The estate worth $7 million (almost UAH 271 million) burned to the ground. Unfortunately, there were some casualties: one of the rescuers was injured when he fell down the stairs, and another person who was in the house at the time of the fire was poisoned by carbon monoxide. They were hospitalized.

The flames broke out in the back of the two-story building in northwest Hollywood. The fire quickly spread upward, causing the roof to collapse. The Telegraph writes about it.

The 31-year-old star herself was not at home at the time of the fire: she was filming a play in London's West End.

It is known that the fire service received a report of a burning house at about four in the morning on March 15. 94 rescuers arrived at the scene and it took them more than two hours to extinguish the fire.

Meanwhile, Delevingne said on her social media, "My heart is broken today. I can't believe it. Life can change in an instant. Appreciate what you have."

The model thought her two cats had died in the fire. Eventually, she published photos of the pets being pulled from the flames by firefighters.

The exact cause of the fire is currently unknown. According to some sources, it could have been caused by a short circuit.

The house where Delevingne lived was built in 1950 and had an area of 618 square meters. The actress and model bought it in 2019 for $7 million.

In addition to standard rooms with exquisite luxury interiors, the star's house also had a room with an expensive billiard table, slot machines, a poker area, a luxurious spa with a swimming pool, a sauna and a steam room, a gym, a home theater, a room for a unique guitars collection, and many other interesting things.
