Kazhanna translated Tina Karol's hit song "Shynshyla"

The young Ukrainian singer Kazhanna, who is breaking out on TikTok with her hits "Dupa ogirka," "Plach" and others, decided to experiment with translating old Russian-language tracks. Thus, the member of Jerry Heil NOVA MUSIC label took on the famous song "Shynshyla" by People's Artist of Ukraine Tina Karol.

Kazhanna has already posted an updated version of the old hit on her TikTok profile, where she has over 222 thousand followers. The singer announced that the release of the full version of the Ukrainian-language "Shynshyla" is scheduled for February 20.

However, there is no need to say that listeners will be treated to a mere translation of Tina Karol's song. Judging by the 20-second video posted by Kazhanna to advertise the upcoming premiere, she uses different music in the verses, and only the chorus was borrowed from Karol.

Instead of the original Russian-language text, the TikTok star sang the following: "This white blizzard-winter has covered me with snow. I sewed myself up. I sinned. I sinned."

In less than a day after its publication (at the time of writing), Kazhanna's video has garnered over 88 thousand views, almost 9 thousand likes, and hundreds of enthusiastic comments. Ukrainians write that they are already waiting for the next masterpiece from the singer and predict the Ukrainian-language "Shynshyla" to be as successful as the original version. However, not everyone shares this enthusiasm. As always, some skeptics criticized the blogger-singer for her atypical vocal style and shocking appearance.

Tina Karol's song "Shynshyla" was released on January 28, 2010 and appeared on the singer's fourth studio album "9 Lives". The song was written by T. Mironova and K. Veretennikov.
