Mika Newton, who survived ovarian cancer, back in cancer center: painful memory
Popular Ukrainian singer Mika Newton, who now resides in the United States, faced ovarian cancer in 2019. For a long time, the star ignored the symptoms, so that she was diagnosed with cancer at the third stage. After a long period of treatment, the artist was able to defeat the ailment, but recently showed up at the cancer center again.
Fans were immediately frightened for the idol, but Newton hastened to reassure them - the clinic, as it turned out, she visits regularly. The performer told about it in InstaStories.
Thus, Newton visits the cancer center on a regular basis for routine check-ups. This is a standard practice, which is necessary for the timely detection of relapse, as well as to make sure that the patient's health is not threatened by anything.
The celebrity posted a photo from the hospital wearing a mask and shared her worries: "Every time I have to go to the cancer center, I can't believe this is part of my life. Today I thought about the fact that I have another 1.5 years to go here for check-ups to be a graduate of this school of life. Every time I'm here, it's all very emotional, a lot of thoughts in my head. It's painful to remember."
Ovarian cancer greatly affected Newton and her attitude toward life. She repeatedly said that after being diagnosed with cancer she began to truly appreciate every day.
"We are happy to live this life, and it doesn't matter how hard it is," the artist reminded fans.
Recall that recently in the network there was a scandal around the winner of Eurovision-2023 Loreen from Sweden and her track Tattoo. The singer was accused of plagiarizing Mika Newton's song "In Captivity", released in 2005. The Ukrainian singer commented on the situation.
As wrote OBOZREVATEL, previously Mika Newton commented on the fact that in 2006-2007 her songs were used in the Russian propaganda series "Kadetstvo". According to the star, then she was very young and did not make decisions on her own, and the "adults" instilled that cooperation with Moscow - it's cool. All the details are in our material.
