Princess Kate Middleton of Wales loves to alter her old clothes, so this year the trend has not changed and she appeared in public for the first time since the beginning of 2024 at Trooping the Color in a dress that was very reminiscent of her appearance on the eve of Charles III's coronation. It turned out that the simple white dress had a new belt and collar.

The princess arrived at the event in a Jenny Packham dress with black trim and a ribbon on the neckline. A large striped bow around the neck was also added to the new look. According to People, the accessories were not new either - Middleton has already worn the earrings twice.

They were the pearls that made up the flower, made by Cavolfiore. She previously wore them to Prince Louis' christening in 2018 and to the Wimbledon tournament in 2023. The Duchess never takes off her wedding ring, and this time is no exception. On the left side of the dress, you can also see the brooch she received after being promoted to the rank of Royal Colonel of the Irish Guards.

In particular, the princess gathered her hair in a voluminous bun at the back of her head and wore a monochrome hat on top, reminiscent of the one she wore during The Trooping The Color in 2022. The Duchess also chose white heels with a slightly lower heel, as opposed to the high black sandals that she wore with the same dress last year.

The princess wore a hat by Irish designer Philip Treacy. It had an interesting stick-shaped insert and was also monochrome. At last year's The Trooping The Color, Middleton also wore a hat by this designer. However, then her look was completely green.

The Duchess has attended this event every year since she married Prince William in 2011. The only exceptions were 2020 and 2021, when the royal event was canceled due to the coronavirus. She disappeared from public space after Christmas. The palace reported that the princess had to undergo abdominal surgery and would therefore be suspended from work until Easter. Since then, the Princess of Wales has not made any more public appearances, which worried royal fans and provoked rumors about her health and well-being. However, the day before, she posted a message on social media saying that she was ready to appear in public, although it would require considerable effort. Moreover, during the summer, the princess hopes to partially return to her duties outside the house. For the first time, she disclosed that her treatment will last for several more months, not until the end of the year, as previously thought.
