Trump was ridiculed for his embarrassment at the airport
The 45th President of the United States, 78-year-old Donald Trump, was embarrassed when he waved to an imaginary crowd as he descended the plane's staircase. The video was posted online and went viral.
"Trump arrived in Virginia today and waved to no one again," Ron Filipkowski, editor-in-chief of the liberal media outlet MeidasTouch, joked on X (formerly Twitter). The funny footage has been viewed almost 900 thousand times.
The camera captured Trump in a suit going down to the ground after arriving at the airport. He held onto the handrail with one hand and waved with the other as if he was greeted by at least a crowd of voters below.
However, when the camera was removed, it became clear that only a car and bodyguards were waiting for Trump, accompanying the former American leader.
