Angelina Usanova represented Ukraine with dignity in the semifinals of Miss Universe: Phoenix dress, swimsuit defile and a special award

On the night of November 16, El Salvador hosted the semifinals of the prestigious Miss Universe beauty pageant, where Ukrainian Angelina Usanova won a special award. She and 9 other contestants were praised for their video for the Voice Of Change nomination.

Beauties from different countries and a participant from the terrorist Russian Federation walked in swimsuits and evening gowns. The video was posted on YouTube.

Angelina Usanova appeared in a dress called Phoenix Rising by Iris van Harpen, a Dutch designer whose work has been praised by Beyoncé, Naomi Campbell, Cara Delevingne, Tilda Swinton, Rita Ora, Cate Blanchett and other stars.

"Ukraine, which they wanted to destroy and burn, rises from the ashes like the Phoenix bird and is reborn in full freedom, true independence and beauty," Angelina Usanova commented on her evening gown.

The Ukrainian also showed off her bikini figure and traditionally shouted out her country at the beginning of the semifinals.

At the end, the silver winners of the Voice Of Change nomination were announced, and they claimed $12 thousand. The money can be spent on a charity or social project. There will be three winners who will be announced on November 18 in the grand final.

Before the show, the participants had a solemn meeting with El Salvador's President Nayib Buchele. The Ukrainian woman appeared before the country's leader in a gray dress with decorative flowers by Ukrainian designer Ivan Frolov.

As a reminder, Angelina Usanova has already presented her luxurious national costume. The symbolic image called "Berehynia Mata" was created over a period of 1.5 months, and some of its elements were printed on a 3D printer.

As OBOZ.UA wrote, the event was not without scandals. At the welcome party in El Salvador, Angelina sat at the same table as a Russian woman. Apparently, the pageant organizers are once again trying to create the illusion of "friendship" between participants from warring countries.
