Sergey Nikiforov

Sergei Nikiforov is a journalist, press secretary of the president of Ukraine.

Brief biography

Sergei Nikiforov was born July 10, 1986 in Krivoy Rog.

Graduated from the journalism department of the Kiev National Taras Shevchenko University.

Worked as a news anchor on the TV channel "Ukraine 24". Since October 2020, he hosted the morning show "Morning of Champions" with Tala Kalatay.

Before that, he worked for Euronews, in particular at the channel's headquarters in Lyon. Nikiforov said that during this time he communicated a lot with representatives of different countries, and his knowledge of the context helped him better understand local news.

In 2007-2011 he was a correspondent of the First National TV Channel.

Before that, he worked as a correspondent of the TV channel Rudana in Kryvyi Rih for a year.

In 2006 he was a correspondent for Channel 24, and in 2005 for the channel K1.

Family
