Polina Gagarina was born in Moscow, March 27, 1987. However, she spent a lot of time in her childhood not in the Russian capital, but in Greece, where her mother, a dancer, performed.

She studied at a music school, and at the age of fourteen began studying at a pop and jazz state school.
