DmytroAnatoliyovych Ch ygrynskiy is a Ukrainian footballer, former defender of the Ukrainian national soccer team.
Dmytro Chygrynskiy was born in the city of Iziaslav, in Khmelnychchchyna, on November 7, 1986.
He entered the Lviv school of physical education, where he became seriously interested in soccer.
At the age of fourteen he moved to the soccer school of FC Shakhtar (Donetsk).
From 2000 to 2004 Dmytro Chygrynskiy played forShakhtar-2, and in 2004 he successfully joined the club's main squad. Chygrynskiy played half of the 2007 season asShakhtar's team captain.
In 2009, Dmytro Chygrynskiy moved to FC Barcelona. The transfer price amounted to twenty-five million euros.
But in 2010, due to financial problems,Barcelona sold Dmytro Chygrynskiy back to FCShakhtar Donetsk for fifteen million euros.
In 2015 Dmytro Chygrynskiy went to Dnipro, where he played one year and left the club in 2016.
In June 2016 Dmytro Chygrynskiy signed a contract withAEK Athens.
From 2007 to 2011 Dmytro Chygrynskiy played as a defender in the national soccer team of Ukraine. Before that, the footballer also played for the youth national team for three years.
