Arsen Mirzoyan

Arsen Romanovich Mirzoyan is a popular Ukrainian singer, a participant of the Voice of Ukraine.

Brief biography

Arsen Mirzoyan was born in Zaporozhye on May 20, 1978.

He received higher education in Zaporozhye State Engineering Academy, which he graduated from in 2000.

After graduation he worked first at "Motor Sich" plant, and then at "Zaporizhstal".

Having no professional musical education, Arsen Mirzoyan started in one of the so-called "yard" groups in 1998. Later he joined a group called "Baburka", which performed at the famous Ukrainian festival "Chervona Ruta".

In 2000 Mirzoyan stopped hearing in his left ear. In 2004 he completely lost his hearing. Thanks to medical intervention he was able to continue practicing music.

In 2008, he performed at the festival "Tavrian Games" as part of the band "Tartak".

In 2011, having passed the qualifying stage, Arsen Mirzoyan took part in the TV show "The Voice of Ukraine" and joined Stas Pieha's team. He successfully made it to the finals and eventually took fourth place.

In the same year, the singer released his first album "Buttons".

Personal life

The first wife is Anna, with her Mirzoyan divorced in 2013. The couple had two sons - Vlad and Artem.

From Anna Mirzoyan left to the popular singer Antonina Matvienko, with whom he met on the show "The Voice of Kraїni", in which she also participated.

In 2016, the couple had a daughter Inna. Arsen Mirzoyan married Matvienko in 2017th year.
