Alexandre de Croix
Alexandre De C roy is the Prime Minister of Belgium (since October 2020).
Brief biography
Alexandre De Cro was born on November 3, 1975 in Vilvoorde.
He received his higher education at the Brussels Free University, where he studied business engineering.
Subsequently, he also earned an MBA(Master of Business Administration) from Northwestern University.
In 2006, he founded his own company, Darts-ip, which provides global information and analytics used in intellectual property investigations and litigation.
From 2009 to 2012, he was chairman of the Open Flemish Liberals and Democrats party.
From 2012 to 2020, he served as Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium in three different governments. In parallel, he was Minister of Pensions (2012-2014), Minister of Development Cooperation (2014-2020) and Minister of Finance (2018-2020).
Since October 2020, he has headed the Belgian Cabinet of Ministers.
