Alexander Yefimovich Rodnyansky is a Ukrainian and Russian director, producer and media manager.
He is a co-founder and co-owner of Cinema City cinema chain in Ukraine and Hilton Kyiv hotel.
He was a co-founder and owner of 1+1 TV channel.
Winner of more than 20 international film festivals.
He was twice nominated for an Oscar as a producer: for Nana Djordjadze's "1001 Recipes for a Chef in Love" (category "Best Foreign Film" in 1996) and for Regis Varnier's "East - West" (category "Best Foreign Film" in 2000).
In 2016, Rodnyansky was elected a member of the American Film Academy's Oscar jury.
