Alexander Viktorovich Pikalov - a famous Ukrainian artist, one of the authors and screenwriters of the creative association Studio "Kvartal 95".
Alexander Pikalov was born in Krivoy Rog, January 30, 1976.
He studied in the Krivoy Rog gymnasium together with Vladimir Zelensky and his wife, Elena Kiyashko.
Higher education he studied at the National University of Krivoy Rog.
Prior to 1998, played in various KVN teams: as students and the team of Krivoy Rog and Dnipropetrovsk.
In 1998 joined the KVN team Kvartal 95. Continuously performed in "Kvartal", firstly in KVN, and later, after reformatting the team into a creative studio, at concerts and shows.
After the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Alexander Pikalov started volunteering. He visited military units and hospitals of the AFU with concerts, donated several cars for the needs of the ATO.
Alexander Pikalov is one of the eight artists of the original cast of "95th Quarter". His most famous role is that of the former president of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. After the Revolution of Dignity and Yanukovych's flight to the Russian Federation, Pikalov took on the stage images of Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko (the latter image Pikalov often shares with Vladimir Zelensky).
Besides appearances at the concerts of "Vecherniy Kvartal", Pikalov takes part practically in every TV project of the studio: "Pure News", "Vecherniy Kyiv", "Porobleno in Ukraine". He also acted in the series "Servant of the People"and the feature film with the same name, playing there the role of the newly-made Minister of Defense.
In addition, Pikalov played occasional roles in the films "Police Academy," "As the Cossacks ..." and "Very New Year's Movie or Night at the Museum" and worked as a voice actor in the animated series "Multi Barbara.
Alexander Pikalov is married. His wife - Irina Pikalova, is the executive producer of "Kvartal". The married couple brings up a son Mikhail.
In addition, Pikalov is the godfather of one of the daughters of Valery Zhidkov, the lead writer of the Studio "Kvartal 95".
