Adnan Ahmet Kiwan was an odious Odessa businessman of Syrian descent. He died on October 28, 2024.

According to the press, since 2007, all of Kivan 's construction scams have followed the same pattern: the businessman received permits from the city authorities to develop the territory in exchange for certain investment commitments, and then simply refused to fulfill them.
Adnan Kivan is also accused of illegally cashing over 250 million hryvnias between 2015 and 2017. These funds were then allegedly sent to the odious fugitive separatist Igor Markov, who distributed the funds as aid to the terrorist organizations"LNR" and"DNR".
In 2017, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine began a detailed inspection of Adnan Kivan's companies. At the same time, a number of appeals to law enforcement agencies on the issue of Kivan were initiated by Ukrainian MPs.
According to Information Resistance, in the same year the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a series of searches in the offices of Adnan Kiwan, confiscating more than twenty million hryvnias and a hundred illegal seals. In response, according to IS, the businessman initiated mass riots in Odessa with the participation of so-called "titushki".
