Young Ukrainian football players are forced to sleep in the hallways and even in bathrooms instead of their usual rooms as Russia's missile attacks on Ukrainian cities continue. This has been going on for a week now after Vladimir Putin's terrorist state resumed attacks on the western regions of Ukraine.
The photo was posted on the Instagram page of journalist Dmytro Povorozniuk. He organized a training camp for young football fans in the Lviv region, who are forced to hide from drones and missiles after school.
"This is what every night looks like for them for the last week. The children are already getting used to sleeping in the corridors and in the bathrooms because of the "liberators". There is a shelter in a neighboring building, but it takes time to wake up, dress and feed 260 children at night. Therefore, it is safer in the corridor between the walls," Povorozniuk captioned the photo.
In the comments, Ukrainians expressed support for the young athletes and angrily reminded that Russia is once again proving its ability to fight against civilians only.
"I feel sorry for our children. But I'm glad that my child was with you that night, not in Kyiv", "Little bunnies", "They only know how to fight civilians and their homes", "Take care of yourself and the kids. At least you make childhood not so gloomy, and sporty", "This is a mockery! Scums! When will it end?", "What a horror, how long will our children live in this fear?", "They will be responsible for our children for a very long time," people write in the comments.
As a reminder, since December 29, Russian terrorists have resumed massive missile attacks on Ukrainian cities. In recent days, the enemy has attacked Lviv, Odesa, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, and continues to shell Kherson and other cities. On the morning of January 2, Russia fired 99 missiles.
