Why you should go to the country even in winter: three reasons everyone forgets

In winter, the owners take a break from gardening and gardening work and come to the dacha to spend time with their families in a quiet, peaceful place. But still, there are some reasons that require periodic visits to the garden plot in the cold season.

You need to periodically shake off the snow from bushes and trees, because branches can break and you won't get a good harvest next season. Also, a "snow blanket" can appear on the greenhouse and this will disrupt the structure, so it is better to clear everything in time.

Open beds must be protected from severe frosts. You can use snow as a covering material. Cover all the beds well so that the low temperature does not damage the seedlings.

Rodents are especially active near trees in the cold season because they are looking for shelter there. Treat the seedlings with special products to scare away pests. Also, tamp the snow well near the trunk. This will protect the soil from freezing, cold winds, and erosion.
