This optical illusion with a bride in a mirror confused netizens, but there's a simple explanation
Optical illusions make the brain believe in something unreal, and this encourages us to look for excuses for various phenomena. For example, a photo of a bride caused a strong reaction among users online because of its "mysticism".
Tessa Coates posted a photo on Instagram of herself trying on a wedding dress. At first glance, there is nothing unusual in this, but if you look closely, you can see that the mirrors reflect a different image, and the position of her hands differs from their actual position.
The bride insists that this photo is real and not the result of photoshop. Moreover, Coates provided numerous proofs that the image was not altered in any way.
But users didn't let it go and eventually got to the bottom of it. In fact, this is an unintentional photo trick that was done using the iPhone 12's panoramic photo feature.
Although the woman insisted that she did not use special functions to create this photo, the image was made by "stitching" several frames into one image.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA published a puzzle that can be solved only by people with sharp eyesight: you need to find five differences in the picture.
