One of the tastiest, easiest to prepare, and most satisfying rice dishes is pilaf. It can be cooked with any meat, mussels, seafood, or just vegetables.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious pan pilaf made with meat and dried cranberries.
Ingredients:
- 300 g turkey
- 250 g of rice
- 1 onion
- 1 large carrot
- 50 g of dried cranberries
- salt
- 1 head of garlic
- spices "for pilaf"
- oil
Method of preparation:
1. Heat a few tablespoons of oil in a frying pan, add the meat cut into small cubes, fry for 5 minutes, and add the finely chopped onion. Fry together for another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Add the carrots, cut into strips, and fry again for 5 minutes. Add the washed rice to the pan, and fry a little together with the meat and vegetables.
3. Wash the garlic.
4. Add salt, garlic, cranberries, and boiling water to cover the rice. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Add spices about 5 minutes before the rice is ready.
