Shannen Doherty divorced the day before her death: details have become known

American actress Shannen Doherty divorced her husband Kurt Iswarienko on the eve of her death after a long battle with cancer. The 53-year-old star of the Beverly Hills Cop series ended her marriage to the photographer, renouncing the obligations of the prenuptial agreement.

This was reported by People. Doherty, who filed a lawsuit last month, claimed that her ex-lover was against the official divorce because he did not want to pay alimony for Shannon's treatment. In addition, Isvarienko spent joint funds on entertainment and cheated on his wife with cancer.

The actress repeatedly said that Kurt was waiting for her death so as not to provide the star with financial support. According to court documents, the celebrity signed a statement of refusal of spousal support on July 12, just one day before her death. She also agreed to a "silent or uncontested dissolution" of their marriage, indicating that the two had jointly completed their divorce proceedings out of court.

"The parties have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marital or family rights, including maintenance, the original of which has been provided or filed with the court," the documents say. Isvariienko signed the document the next day, on July 13, the same day it became known that Doherty had died of breast cancer.

Last winter, the celebrity claimed that her husband had left her on the eve of the surgery and accused him of using her money for an "extravagant lifestyle." Before that, they had been married for 14 years.
