Yuriy Valeryevich Koryavchenkov is an actor and administrator of the Studio "Kvartal 95".

Brief biography

Yuri Koryavchenkov was born in Krivoy Rog, November 26, 1974.

Initially, Koryavchenkov dreamed of a medical career and during his high school years worked as an orderly in the surgical department of the local hospital for two years.

He received his higher education in Krivoy Rog Technical University, specialty: electrical engineer.

Yuri Koryavchenkov engaged in creative amateur activity in his student days. At first he, together with Yuri Krapov, performed in the STEM "Short Circuit". Later he joined the KVN team "Krivorozhskaya shpana".

Before his arrival in "95 Kvartal", Yuri Koryavchenkov managed to play with various KVN teams: "50x50", "Dnipropetrovsk team" and "Krivoy Rog team".

After the institute Yuri Koryavchenkov got a job at the Central Mining and Processing Combine, where he worked his way up from an electrician to the head of the trade union committee.

In 2003, Yuri Koryavchenkov became one of the founders of the Studio "Kvartal 95", and then for a long time was its administrative director, combining this position with acting activities in the Studio. After the appearance of the show "Evening Kvartal", Yuriy Koryavchenkov became one of the leading artists on its stage.

In addition, Yuri Koryavchenkov participated in many projects of the Studio "Kvartal 95". The most famous of his works are considered to be:

• "Servant of the People " - in three seasons of the TV series Yuriy Koryavchenkov plays the role of Boris Dudyak - the newly appointed head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

• "Porobleno in Ukraine".

• "Arise, Ukraine!". For a long time, Koryavchenkov hosted this Sunday show.

In 2019, during the presidential election in Ukraine, Yuri Koryavchenkov headed the headquarters of Vladimir Zelensky in Krivoy Rog.

In the early parliamentary elections to the Verkhovna Rada, Yuriy Koryavchenkov ran for the Servant of the People party and won in his district, receiving the mandate of People's Deputy of Ukraine.

Wiretap "Yuzik"

In 2019, the people's Deputy of Ukraine Anton Polyakov published an audio recording of a conversation between the head of the police of Krivoy Rog and several deputies from the party "Servant of the people". Judging by the recording of the negotiations, "Yuzik" decided to take control of criminal cases in Krivoy Rog and even start collecting "tribute" from businesses for "roofing".

The corruption scandal that broke out became one of the most high-profile corruption cases in 2019.

The artist is married. The wife of Yuri Koryavchenkov is Tatiana. The couple has three children - Andrei, Margarita, Mariana.
