YAKTAK (real name Yaroslav Karpuk) is a Ukrainian pop and hip-hop singer and songwriter.
Brief biography
Yaroslav Karpuk was born on May 4, 2005 in Stara Vyzhovka settlement of Volyn region. His parents are civil servants.
He graduated from the gymnasium in the family settlement. Later, he received higher education at the Kiev Municipal Academy of Variety and Circus Arts, specializing in "artist-vocalist".
In 2019, was a participant in the 5th season of the show "Golos.Children". Took second place in the super-final.
In February 2022, Yaroslav announced the start of his solo project YAKTAK.
Recorded songs in duet with Jerry Heil, MamaRika, Kola and other artists.
In 2024 he is a participant of the National selection for Eurovision 2024 with the song LaLaLa. The artist was accused of plagiarism.
